Jessica Camacho



Jessica Camacho is a dedicated parent with a passion for education and public service. She is a strong supporter of the MISD vision, values, and mission. As a proven leader and team player, Jessica will work with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to collectively achieve the goals set in the MISD Vision 2020 and beyond.

From 2002 to 2006, Jessica was a student at the University of Texas at Arlington and was highly involved in campus life. She was a member of the Goolsby Leadership Academy, through which she completed courses in Communication, Executive Leadership, and Organizational Strategy. While obtaining her degree Jessica served as an AmeriCorps member, volunteering over 900 hours with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arlington. After completing her service, she accepted a permanent position with the Boys and Girls Clubs as a Program Director working with at-risk youth. Jessica obtained an Honors B.A. in Business Administration in May 2006. She is a proud UTA Alumna!

In 2007, Jessica married her husband, Michael, and the two relocated to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. Jessica obtained a Master’s in Public Administration in December 2009. As part of the Non-profit and Government Management track, she completed coursework in Budgeting, Human Resources, and Ethics. Wreck Em’ Tech! While pursuing her degree, Jessica worked at the City of Lubbock Buddy Holly Museum. She managed the marketing and special events for the museum and art gallery.

For the last seven years Jessica has been a stay at home mom, dedicating herself to raising her children. While living in Lubbock, she managed a meetup group for stay at home moms and an in home bakery. Jessica and her family relocated to Mansfield two years ago. Last year she served on the PTA Board at Nancy Neal and is currently an active PTA member.

Jessica’s husband, Michael, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Tech. Michael is COO of Premier Patient Healthcare, a physician management company in Carrollton. Jessica and Michael have three sons: Joshua is a first grader at Nancy Neal Elementary, Cameron attends First Faith Methodist Preschool, and Noah was born May 2016.
